Okay, so this is new... we are going to start blogging in middle school music. This is a safe place where we can ask questions about class, or discuss different "Song of the Day". I might even post some assignments for you to complete at home.
My first question for our class is... What do you think about using a blog in music?

ReplyDeleteI not puting this blog down or anything but i sort of dis like it because i think it a hasule for people who cant get on a computer so they cant get extra credit so i think we should stick with the song of the day.-Emily

I think it's a wonderful idea. Blogging allows you the opportunity to share ideas and collaborate with other people all over the world. Just think, eventually you may have conversations about DC music classes with someone on the other side of the planet. That's cool no matter who you are!

its a good way to get into music becuase it is a neat idea to bring up grades or to tell what you did today. i think it won't be a problem foraoftball or baseball or any other sports

I am having mixed feelings about it because like Amber says softball and baseball might get in the way. Plus someone might not be able to get on the computer (but that can be easily fixed ). The library haas computers, parents or realatives might have computers. Plus it's not like you have to do it, it's just a fun extra credit. I also like it because this is a place you can express your feelings and confusion on song of the day, projects, and just music in general. I am hoping it lasts because I like blogging and I hope to get on as much as I can and if it doesn't last that is okay too because you can just ask durring, before or after school. So if it lasts it lasts, if it doesn't it doesn't. I don't NEED the extra credit but some people might. Either way is fine with me.

I believe it is good, because it help me stay in contact with Ms. Norton and the other students if I am unable to be in class, or if I have questions that I am not sure of the answer.
